Who we are
Crypto Singapore is a small editorial team of researchers and writers who follow Singapore’s digital-asset market. We started the site because most of what ranks for crypto questions in Singapore is either written for another country, written once and never updated, or written by the platforms themselves. People here deserve answers that reflect how things actually work in Singapore: PayNow and FAST, Singpass sign-ups, MAS licences, IRAS rules and the reality that Bitcoin ATMs disappeared in 2022.
We are not a bank, a broker, an exchange or a licensed financial adviser. We do not hold customer money, we do not execute trades and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell a particular token.
How we check facts
Every page carries a “last verified” date. Before that date, we check licence status in the MAS Financial Institutions Directory, regulatory statements on mas.gov.sg, tax positions on iras.gov.sg and scam data from the Singapore Police Force. For fees and features we use each company’s own fee schedule, help centre and official announcements. Where only press reports or third-party data exist, we say so in the text, and where we cannot confirm something at all, we tell you that rather than guess.
We never invent locations, machines, counters, offices or numbers. Our area guides are a good example: where a neighbourhood has no walk-in crypto service, the page says so and points you to the nearest real option instead.
Our sourcing rule
A fact that affects your money needs a primary source: a regulator, a government agency or the company itself. Each page lists its sources at the bottom so you can check them yourself.
Independence
Our editorial decisions are our own. Rankings and reviews reflect our reading of licences, fees, funding options and the trade-offs each platform asks you to accept. When a platform is not licensed by MAS, we say so clearly, even when it ranks highly for other reasons. Links on the site to outside websites are marked nofollow and open in a new tab.
Updates and corrections
Crypto rules and fee schedules in Singapore change several times a year. We review every page at least quarterly and immediately after major announcements from MAS. If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, email contact@crypto-singapore.com with the page address and, ideally, a link to the source. We correct confirmed errors quickly and update the verification date.
